    This is beautiful! Love the contrast between the two rhythms of a heart, whether it be a deep rumbling or a soft flicker.. the heart says it all :D

    i love this short poem. and the form you used. all those short lines with almost identical number of syllables. like heartbeats. :)

    There is no denying it. One takes one's heart to be so dear that it is guarded so as not to be hurt unnecessarily. So few words but so deep in meaning. Great lines Torie!
