Keep Moving

Keep moving
Even when the ground
feels stale
Move against the wind
Never keep yourself
against the rail
Keep moving
Keep moving past
your fears
Let go of what's done
You can't undo
all those years
And whenever you feel lost
inside of your own space
Close your eyes and breathe
Remember, that you'll eventually
find your place
As long as you keep moving

    1. Right?! It's been quite the (ongoing) process of learning to live in the present :) Thank you for visiting!

  4. Excellent piece! I agree! I have found that the waters of life are only neck deep and if you keep moving it does get shallow-er :-) ...some end up drowning when it gets to their knees...

  5. ah some nice wisdom in this...if we stop we get stuck in the moment...and crushed by the weight of it all...if we keep moving we at least have momentum in a direction...further on than now...

    1. Even if you don't know where you're headed, going in any one direction is better than becoming stagnant. Thank you for your really great comment, Brian :)

  7. So important to continue to move forward despite fears. So true. You get nowhere by standing still.

    1. If only it were so much easier to focus on the reward you get after facing your fears, instead of focusing on the fears themselves. I've found that it gets easier with practice :) Thanks for making another visit, Mary!
