Droplets In The Sea

Look up
at the sky
Tell me what
do you see
I know there's
little bit
of you
and a
little bit
of me
Because we all
go together
like droplets
in the sea
What is
a part of you
can be seen
inside of me
I love the world
in laughter
in rapture
and in joy
I'll always
feel the
misfortune
when you break
your favorite toy
And when
our souls
feel like
shadows
living beneath
the dust
We must try
a little harder
to shine
so our souls
may never rust

  3. the rhymes in this give it a rather lyrical quality to it...
and we do need to let our souls shine and bring a little light
into the world...though i love the color of rust...
i would not want to rust myself...smiles.

  4. I agree we are all part of the sky, and ocean. And shine on souls, never to rust. Lovely.

  5. Perfection...we are all part of each other and of this earth. If we could all keep our souls from rusting...a wonderful goal for our world.

    1. Sometimes it's a bit of a challenge to keep that positive outlook, but I'm finding that it gets a little easier as time goes by ;) Thank you for your kind words, Sherry!
